Notes: There were no readings from the fence line monitoring. According to the notification, the release was associated with a permitted emission source and therefore, "not reportable". No end date or completion of repairs was projected or estimated.

Cause: There was a gasket leak in the Vinyl Chloride Monomer unit. Ethylene dichloride, hydrogen chloride, and ethylene.

Followup: No

Notes: A clamp was placed on the leak and an emergency team was sent to secure the leak. Fence line monitoring showed no detectable readings.
